The village is home to a number of unique boutique style shops where you can treat yourself to exquisite jewellery, designer clothing, local artwork and much more! The ferry to Auckland city leaves at convenient ½ hour intervals so you can also plan day trips and take a ferry to explore the many outer islands of the Gulf.

Mahoe’s flexible layout provides the ability to host couples or groups with ease in well-appointed facilities. The upstairs B&B is ideal for two couples travelling together. There are two queen bedrooms and a large communal lounge, which is a perfect space to unwind at the end of a day’s exploring.

Featuring a two storied self catering apartment, Mahoe is ideal if you prefer to arrange your own cooking needs, and want extra privacy or space whilst on holiday. Relax in your own personal lounge or soak up the sun on the balcony.

We can provide a delicious continental breakfast for you to enjoy at your leisure, or if you’d prefer to eat out in the village, you can savour spectacular views of Auckland city whilst dining upon fresh local cuisine.
