Abigails

Abigails specialises in gifts for all occasions; Christmas, Easter, Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day, Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, New Baby and Baby Showers.

Specialist lines include cards, toys and clothing for babies and kids, fragrances for the house, personal fragrances and toiletries, crockery, jewellery and general gift items.

Abigails takes pride in sourcing the uncommon as well as top brands, believing that shopping should be an adventure rather than a chore. Exclusive brands include Mor toiletries, Tamsin Cooper, The Aromatherapy Company, Toshi, Oobi and Merino Kids.

The shop has moved twice since its original establishment in the 1980′s; its present location is in a bright and sunny heritage building (`A` Scheduled), once the premises of the Auckland Meat Company in the historic main street of picturesque Devonport.

Just up the street is the recently-restored, historic Victoria Picture Palace and Theatre, reputed to be the oldest remaining movie theatre in the whole of Australasia.
