Welcome to Evergreen Books, we have been in Devonport for over 20 years. Unlike most secondhand bookshops we are not a crammed, dusty old store but a well organised light and airy bookshop with plenty of room to move around. All our books are categorised so it is very easy to find what you are looking for.

No we don’t sell online, we want you to come in and enjoy our wonderful shop and lovely atmosphere and be assured that all the best books and bargains are still in the shop.

We also have a large children’s section to keep them entertained while you take time to browse our extensive collections, what ever your interest, be it Art history, military or early New Zealand Maritime history.

We also buy your books in store seven days a week, single books to large collections.
